The Victory.

my blog have been pretty lack of updates, hhmm.. this time, i decided to do a post about certain olympic events that i loved very much and some athletes who caught my eyes on. ;)

i catched this live on tv yesterday. it's impressive, isn't it? no? oh well, it blew me away like a tornado! i gotta scream for more man! ;D

but to think of it, how much effort they have put in? these athletes sacrificed their precious time for entertainment, they have been training from hours to hours, days to days, months to months, years to years. what they ask for? probably just the moment be on stage, perform and get the applause from the audience, get a medal for their nation and make family be proud of it. of course, they did that because they loved the sports, yeah?

this is Evgenia Kaneava.
she's the russian rhythmic gymnast and she's olympic individual gold medalist!
impressive performance from her! ;D
and plus, she looked damn sweet and beautiful. woahh..

and.. this is anna bessonova from ukraine. i loved her ribbon performance.
but sadly, she got bronze somehow.
she started rhythmic gymnastic at the age of 5,
coached by her mom who is two time world champion group rhythmic gymnast!

Tears for liu xiang's departure for 110metres hurdles!

ahhh~~! this is the saddest event for beijing 2008 olympics. when whole nation of china is looking forward to liu xiang and wishing that he will win a gold medal for china like how he pull it off last four years in athens, pain for archillies' tendon six years ago comes again. the pain has been worse still right two weeks before the game starts. when he walks away from the track, it shattering whole nation's dream. when ppl is scolding him he quits from competition, i think sure it's hard for him too! he himself knows chinese all around the world has high expectation on him. i guessed quiting the game would be the last step he will take if he isn't in terrible pain..

his primary coach teared down in the press conference and say: "liu xiang insisted to run on olympic games. even before warming up the game, thres doctors tried to ease the pain but it didn't subside. but even then, liu xiang decided to risk his career." liu xiang himself stated that the pain was unbearable. if he had finish the race, it would risk his tendon and he couldn't describe his feeling at the very moment.

he will come back, he said! ;D

let's wish him the best, hopefully he come back even bigger in the next four years in london! yeah ;)

Loves,
yinwei.
